A good sized park with an interesting variety of trees. A lot of Hornbeam tree's can be found within the children's play area. There is a particularly large Hornbeam tree by one of the five entrances. This park has bit of everything and is good for all ages. The children's play area could do with a couple more benches.

  • The park was opened in 1891
  • It has five entrances
  • There are eleven bins in total
  • There are three dog bins throughout the main park
  • There are eleven benches in total. Three of these are within the childrens play area
  • Public toilets are next to the childrens play area
  • The play area also has a wet play section which is open during the summer
  • During the summer there are often events and festivals
  • There is a volunteer group called Bloom'In St Thomas
  • There is a 'Exeter Wild City' patch. See www.devonwildlifetrust.org/exeter-wild-city

  • Good for Hornbeam and Sycamore trees
  • Watch out for the Locust trees - they have large thorns!
