Allotments are just as important as our parks and public open spaces throughout Exeter. Although some allotments won't have any large trees they still provide great benefits to both the environment and the local residents. Some allotments are quite small and may only have basic amenities such as water, whereas some will be fairly big and include parking, toilets and even a trading hut. Typically vegetables are grown on the allotments which provide food for our very important pollinating insects.

Alphington is one of six allotment sites:

• Alphington
• Exwick
• Stoke Hill
• St Thomas
• Topsham
• Whipton and Heavitree

1. Alphington Allotments - 38 plots. Site amenities include: Parking, Toilets, Water.
2. Clapperbrook Field 1 - 12 Plots. Site amenities include: Water.
3. Clapperbrook Field 2 - 23 Plots. Site amenities include: Parking, Toilets, Water.
4. Ide Lane - 23 Plots. Site amenities include: Parking, Toilets, Water.
5. Trews Weir* (Riverside & Canalside) - 96 Plots. Site amenities include: Toilets, water.
