PLANNING
Over the years I have seen many trees and hedges disappear and have felt powerless to stop this. Now that I am more aware of how things 'work' in the Exeter City Council and Government I am keeping a close eye on the planning that is going on throughout Exeter. The Exeter City Council planning portal is clunky, dated and parts of it do not work in Chrome. To make things easier for everybody I have created a simple list below which will be updated frequently.
Keeping things simple - when a planning application is made and goes public - there will be a 21 day window where you can comment, object or approve the request. If nobody comments or objects - then it is certain to go ahead. As there are so many of planning requests across Exeter I am only focused on anything that would put a tree / shrub at risk or any green space. If you are viewing this on a mobile device it's best to have the screen in landscape mode so you can see the details more easily.
