Impact: Some of the existing hedgerow will be removed / reduced. The plans advise that the mature Deodar cedar tree to the right of the builders access will be left alone. A small number of mixed tree species will be planted around the grounds which will help attract wildlife. Assuming the mature Deodar cedar is left alone then the overall planning proposal would be positive. However - it would need to remain the original 60 beds to allow a more comfortable living experience.
