A very large area which runs along the beautiful rive Exe. It also connects to the Exwick playing fields. The main train-line runs right through the middle so there is a tunnel to get to either side of the playing fields. As with all playing fields it is a large open space in the middle and trees along the edges (mostly). It is easily accessible and is a very nice walk along the river side of the playing fields. There is also the Flowerpot Skatepark where young and old test their skills on wood and wheels. It has two football pitches, a rugby pitch as well as a half court basketball and trampoline. There are plenty of trees and if you like your Oak trees you won't be disappointed. This is one of the best places for Turkey oak.
