As you imagine, the reason it's called Cemetery field play area is because it's next to a cemetery. It's about a five minute walk away from the Exwick cemetery which is a great place for trees. Access to this area is quite open and there are footpaths from Gloucester Road, Lincoln Road, Chelmsford Road as well as one that runs along side the Exwick cemetery. During my visit there wasn't much to be honest. The play area was torn up and just bear soil and weeds here and there. On google maps it looks like there was a wooden assault course. I am hoping the Exeter council are going to put a new park there as the nearest one would be at Gloucester Road. There is a MUGA with a single basketball hoop and a good sized green space. The surrounding area is very nice and although there are no trees in the actual field area there are plenty of established trees on the edges.
